Chairman of the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has lambasted journalists and editors who published sections of Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi’s affidavit which wasn’t presented at the hearings yet.

On Sunday, various newspapers revealed parts of Agrizzi’s testimony.

Justice Zondo has told the commission on Tuesday that publishing Agrizzi’s testimony was unlawful, and not in the public interest.

Zondo has reminded media houses that disseminating the commission’s work without it being heard at the commission first is against the rules.

Zondo says all newspapers which published Agrizzi’s testimony were only serving their own interest.

He says by publishing the testimonies of witnesses before it is heard in the commission is undermining the work of the commission.

He has further appealed to the media, to refrain from publishing information that has not been heard and support the work of the commission.
