Raul Makhubu, the brother of Mbuyisa Makhubu, says June 16 is always a difficult period for their family.
Speaking on Morning Live Friday morning Makhubu described his brother as intelligent, sporty and a fun guy to have around.
Makhubu says his brother came back home after the Soweto Uprising and he was in the sad mood. He says Makhubu never spoke to him about it but rather spoke to their mother.
Makhubu’s face is one of the most recognisable faces of what happened as he ran carrying Hector Pieterson’s body. –Edited by Sthembiso Sithole.
