Today is World Radio Day. February 13 was proclaimed World Radio Day in 2011 by the Member States of UNESCO and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012.
In celebrating the power of radio, UNESCO says that amid the COVID-19 crisis, radio has shown its capacity to bring information and knowledge when needed the most.
