A look at numbers relating to 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children as Gender -Based-Violence continues to affect millions around the world.

South Africa launched the annual 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign this week.

The campaign runs from 25 November to 10 December amid the global coronavirus(COVID-19) pandemic.

Gender-Based-Violence (GBV) has been called the the second pandemic as women and children around the world experience increased levels of violence from their intimate partners.

This week, we look at the numbers relating to GBV:
