The United Nations Department for Safety and Security has issued a warning on its official website to travelers between South Africa and Botswana about the unrest in the border area of Dinokana near Zeerust in North-West.
The UN department has warned travelers to avoid using the N4 for now.
It’s advising using alternative routes.
The South African Police Service says a protest in the area is service-related after the water supply to the Ikageleng section of the village was cut off.
