IFP postpones elective conference

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) KwaZulu-Natal elective conference scheduled to take place over the weekend has been postponed.

The party in the province says it is still busy auditing some branches to ensure people who will attend the conference are credible members.

KwaZulu-Natal Secretary Velenkosini Hlabisa says, “There was an initial date for the weekend for the provincial conference of the IFP in KwaZulu-Natal. However, due to the fact that there are some logistical issues that include the auditing of branches so that we ensure that the people who will attend the conference are credible members, the dates have been adjusted. The final date will be communicated once all logistical issues have been sorted out.”
