The final results for the 2021 local government elections will be announced Thursday evening.
The electoral process had its own challenges with at least over 80 objections lodged with the Electoral Commission(IEC) by the end of business on Wednesday.
The electoral body says all the objections will be dealt with after the announcement of the results.

The announcement of the results is a culmination of the 42-day long intense electioneering.
The IEC’s Sy Mamabolo says getting the job done in a short time was not easy and Commissioner Mosotho Moepya promised to resolve all the over 80 objections lodged soon.
Meanwhile, President Cyril Ramaphosa will attend the announcement on Thursday evening.
