IEC Chief Electoral Officer, Sy Mamabolo, says they hope all results from all voting stations will be in by daybreak on Thursday. Mamabolo said this during a media briefing at the ROC in Tshwane on Wednesday evening.
The commission is expected to announce the results later on Thursday.
At 88% of the voting districts declared, the ANC was in the lead in most of the provinces followed by the DA and the EFF.
