Real411 will help the public to get the correct information leading up to the 2019 National and Provincial elections.

Media Monitoring Africa (MMA) director, William Bird explains the process of reporting a disinformation complaint on their initiative to combat false information that can compromise the 2019 National and Provincial Elections.

They revealed their online complaint platform to submit disinformation material leading up to the sixth democratic elections in South Africa.

He says the digital age is a new era that comes with many advances and challenges and they hope Real411 will help the public to get the right information.

The project is a partnership with the Electoral Commission (IEC) to get rid of disinformation that could harm the credibility of our 8 May polls.
