In a video that has gone viral on social media, actor Idris Elba says he has tested positive for coronavirus.
The 47-year-old actor says although he didn’t have any symptoms for the virus, his test results came back positive.

Elba says he and his wife Sabrina Dhowre, are doing ‘OK’.
He says he had been isolated since finding out last Friday that he had been exposed to someone who tested the positive.
In the video, he encourages people watching to practice social distancing and be diligent about hand washing.
he global tally of confirmed cases has exceeded 168,000,with China now accounting for less than half of that.
The overall number of infections in mainland China stood at 80,881 as of Monday.
The death toll in China had reached 3,226, up by 13 from the previous day.
In Hubei there were 12 new deaths, with Wuhan accounting for 11 of the fatalities.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson announced they had tested positive for coronavirus last week.
He posted and update in his Instagram account that he and his Rita tested positive for the virus while they were in Australia.
Italian football club Juventus announced on Wednesday that one of its players, defender Daniele Rugani, has tested positive for coronavirus.
Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju revealed that he too tested positive for the new coronavirus.
He told Instagram fans that he’d be “self-isolating” with his family “for as long as it takes.”
