Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan’s much anticipated Budget Speech has been seen and heard by students and academics across the country.
Wits University’s Vice Chancellor, Adam Habib monitored Gordhan’s speech very closely.
R16.3 billion has been allocated to the Higher Education sector plus an additional R8 billion that will go towards universities, specifically to deal with the No Fees increase issue.
