Human Rights Month Celebrations: When and Where?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The month of March is officially Human Rights Month and is highlighted by Human Rights Day in which we remember the lives lost at the Sharpeville Massacre.

Every year celebrations are held around the country to commemorate the lives lost during the struggle against Apartheid and the need to recognise human rights for all.

This year the theme for Human Rights Month is “Celebrating the Freedom Charter, Human Rights for All”.

Check out our interactive map below showcasing where Human Rights Month celebrations will be taking place and when.
