UDM leader Bantu Holomisa says he will not join the ANC.

United Democratic Movement (UDM) leader Bantu Holomisa has rejected the attempt by the African National Congress (ANC) to lure him back into the party. ANC Deputy President David Mabuza has said he is considering approaching Holomisa and EFF leader, Julius Malema to re-join the ANC.

Speaking to SABC News, Holomisa says he and Malema are comfortable with fighting corruption and they have changed the political outlook in the country.  Holomisa says Mabuza is day dreaming.

“A big no, Holomisa is not about to surrender his liberty, I have been batting on a wicket of anti- corruption and calling for the improvement of checks and balances, now if you are going to say EFF and UDM must go back to the ANC that means you are promoting a one party dominance, one party dominance in the past nine years we have seen it promotes corruption.”
