A tribute concert in honour of hip hop artist Linda “ProKid” Mkhize is set to take place in Soweto on Sunday.
The Dankie San Dankie San tribute concert will see 64 artists come together on stage at the Zone 6 Venue in Diepkloof to pay homage to one of South Africa’s pioneering artists in the hip hop fraternity.
ProKid passed away earlier this month in Johannesburg following a seizure.
TV personality Penny Lebyane says all proceeds of the concert will go towards an education fund for Mkhize’s three year old daughter, Nonkanyezi.
