The highly anticipated Mpumalanga High Court that took almost three years to complete, will have the first sitting in Mbombela on Monday.
President of the Mpumalanga Division of the High Court, Judge Francis Legodi, will preside over the first sitting of the Court situated on Samora Machel Drive.
This will be the first time that every province will have its own provincial seat of the High Court.
Spokesperson for the office of the Chief Justice, Nathi Ncube, says this will help ease the pressure in Gauteng courts.
