Many of the country’s roads saw seen huge volumes of traffic at the weekend as holiday-makers headed to their way to their various destinations around country.
Statistics have not yet been released, but the RTMC’s Simon Zwane says vehicles have knocked down many pedestrians since the beginning of December.

We also advising motorists to be careful when driving around in residential areas that there are many people walking and we must be on the lookout to avoid these unnecessary accidents.”
