KwaZulu-Natal residents can continue to expect wet weather conditions throughout the province.
The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of heavy rainfall leading to possible flooding over the coastal areas of KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday.
The province can expect a 60% chance of showers and rain over the eastern part, while thunderstorms over the western part of the province are placed at 30%.
Weather forecaster, Ayanda Nseleni, says localised flooding can be expected along the coast.
“On Wednesday over KZN we are expecting 60% chances of showers and rain over the eastern part. Otherwise 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms over the western part. We also have a warning for heavy rainfall leading to flooding especially over areas over the coast,” says Nseleni.
