Heatwave expected in Cape Town on Sunday

The Cape Town Weather Office says temperatures above thirty can be expected in the Mother City on Sunday.

Senior Weather Forecaster, Henning Grobler, says the heatwave is expected to clear up on Tuesday.

He says cold and cool conditions with no rain can be expected by Wednesday.

“Temperatures are going to be mid-30s with a slight south easterly wind during the course of tomorrow. Then on Monday and Tuesday it seems like it’s still nice and warm. A little bit of cooling is expected on Tuesday going into Wednesday with a weak cold front brushing through bringing in some cool air.”
