National Police Commissioner Kehla Sitole says the Hawks and police Intelligence are at the Malmesbury Mosque. Sitole, senior management and the Hawks are in Parliament to brief the Police Committee on various matters.

These include progress with an investigation into another mosque attack that took place at Verulam in Kwazulu-Natal last month. Sitole confirmed that one of the victims in the Malmesbury attack was a South African, while the other victim and the attacker were foreign nationals.
