A 47-year-old man of Sekampaneng in Hammanskraal, North of Pretoria, has been sentenced to life imprisonment term by the Moretele regional court.
Bonifatso Bapela has been found guilty of raping his 14 year old daughter in 2015.
He was arrested after DNA tests linked him to the rape incident.
He allegedly lured his daughter to a shopping mall to buy her clothes, before raping her at the nearby bushes.
When passing on the sentence Magistrate Edmond Hamphris, says the sentence will send a strong message to other people intending to commit such offences.
