Guptas must account if done something wrong: Mabuza

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Deputy President David Mabuza says if the Guptas have done something wrong, they should be brought to book. Mabuza was answering oral questions in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

The Economic Freedom Fighters claimed that the Guptas were looting mines in Mpumalanga when Mabuza was the Premier.

Mabuza says there are institutions that can hold the Guptas to account.

“We have got institutions that are qualified and responsible to hold those that are at odds with the law accountable. It’s not the deputy president that must go after people and arrest them. It does not mean if the Guptas have done something wrong they should not be brought to book. They will. If they have done something wrong, they will.”
