Family members of the slain station commander of the Grobblersdal Police Station in Limpopo, have been joined by other senior police officials for his official memorial service at the local sports stadium.
Colonel Jeffrey Seroka was gunned down on Saturday outside his home while preparing to go to a funeral.
No one has been arrested for the killing.
Family Spokesperson, Segopane Seroka says they are grateful for the support they are receiving.
“We feel very comforted as a family and we are believing that through time, we can get strength so that life can still go on after we have buried our beloved brother. So, your presence here and the attention that government is giving this particular incident is giving us more courage.”
