The Government says it will not tolerate any violence or disruptions during the national elections on the seventh of May.
Government says that they are confident that the IEC will deliver credible and fair elections.
The Justice and Security Cluster ministers briefed the media in Pretoria on Monday, declaring that government was ready for the elections.
Government says it expects the elections to run smoothly, despite the internal problems that the IEC is facing.
State Security Minister Siyabonga Cwele, says government is satisfied that the commission will deliver free and fair elections.
He says that they have assessed the readiness of the IEC and that that they seem capable of delivering a free and fair elections.
