Amidst problems afflicting South Africa currently, from technical recession, to job-losses and the ever-increasing costs of petrol and living in general, among other issues, South Africans may get an opportunity to punctuate their myriad of dilemmas with a bit chuckle.

When the names Jason, Donovan and Nicholas are mentioned, comedy enthusiasts will immediately know you are speaking of – the Goliath and Goliath, an award-winning comedy and entertainment agency renowned for its stand-up comedy.

The trio have now embarked on a nationwide tour to grow their brand and revive some sense of humour around the country … depressed country? You decide!

The tour is in partnership with Sun International as the two major brands have found a way connect so as to ensure that audiences can share laughs with the trio.

The first installment of the tour kicked off at the Wild Coast Sun Casino in KwaZulu-Natal. It will continue in various venues around the country between September and December 2018.

Ready to roll, the trio is now bringing Johannesburg and Limpopo audiences into the fold, with Carnival City being the first venue on Friday 28 September and Carousel in Hammanskraal on the 29 September 2018.

Speaking to SABC News, Nicholas says they have warmed up and are ready to entertain the Johannesburg and Limpopo audiences.

He has urged audiences to be prepared.

Be prepared to laugh; to laugh at yourselves and to laugh at us. Now that the nerves have subsided for the first leg of the Road Trip, it’s just going to get a lot better! So, be prepared to laugh even harder and louder, says Nicholas Goliath.
