The assault charges of media owner and chairperson of MSG Afrika, Given Mkhari have been withdrawn. According to PowerFM statement Mkhari will not be appearing in court on Monday.
“He and his wife have withdrawn the charges against each other,” the statement reads. This is after an “unfortunate incident” that took place at their home on Saturday night.
According to the station, Mkhari says he had gone to press charges at the Randburg Police Station, followed by his spouse.
“The family have since taken the decision to resolve the matter at home,” the statement says.
