The South African Communist Party (SACP) in Gauteng says it’s confident that the ANC will win the province in the 2019 general election.
SACP together with Cosatu held their early elections campaign in Alexandra north of Johannesburg on Saturday.
SACP Gauteng Provincial Secretary, Jacob Mamabolo, says they are going around all townships to listen to the people. He says next week they will be in Jabulani, Soweto.
“The province of Gauteng will remain in the hands of the ANC, working with its allience partners COSATU and the SACP. We say this because the people are receptive to the message of Thuma Mina. We are confident that as we get closer to the elections, our people will reaffirm the leadership of the African National Congress.”
