Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for suspects who shot and killed two Mozambican nationals in Alexandra, north of Johannesburg on Friday.
Police say the victims were leaving their home for work when suspects opened fire on them.
“One was shot when he was going out of the house. And the other one was shot when he tried to see what was happening outside. One died at the scene, the other one died on his way to hospital. The motive of the shooting is unknown, but police have opened a case of murder and [is] calling anyone with the information to help the police so that we can apprehend the suspects,” says police spokesperson Kay Makhubela.
