Gauteng police are investigating a case of murder after a 43-year-old man was shot and killed in an apparent hit in Bedfordview, east of Johannesburg, on Monday evening.
The man was shot in his vehicle by two men on a motorcycle, who then sped off. The motive behind the shooting is not yet known.

Bedfordview Police Spokesperson, Andre de Jager, explains, “The victim stopped at a traffic light at Kloof and van Buuren Road. As he was standing at the traffic light, a motorbike with two occupants on top came next to him, shot him through the window. The victim drove off and then he succumbed to his injuries in his vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.”
