Gauteng continues to record high COVID-19 recoveries

Gauteng has recorded almost 15 000 new recoveries in the last two days.

Gauteng has continued to record high recoveries from the coronavirus in the last few days.

The latest national daily figures show that the province has recorded more than 10 000 recoveries in the last 24-hours.

South Africa’s economic hub has a total of 156 821 confirmed coronavirus cases.

By Friday evening, Gauteng had recorded 4729 recoveries in a 24 hour period, which brought its total recoveries to 82  126.

The latest figures reflect that Gauteng has recorded 10 220 more recoveries by Saturday night.

This means the the province has recorded almost 15 000 new recoveries in the last two days.

This brings the epicentre’s overall recoveries to  92 346.
