GALLERY: Fire that gutted Parliament

A fire broke out in the Parliament precinct in Cape Town on Sunday, which resulted in extensive damage to historic buildings.

The fire was finally contained on Tuesday after it flared up again later on Monday. Mop-up and assessment of damages are currently under way.
