FW de Klerk’s son dies following battle with cancer

Eighty five-year-old FW de Klerk headed the white minority government until 1994.

The son of former State President, FW de Klerk has died at the age of 53. Willem de Klerk died on Tuesday in Durbanville, Cape Town after a long battle with cancer.

Spokesperson for the FW de Klerk Foundation, Dave Steward says the family will announce funeral arrangements in due course.
