Colin Nathan, who trains International Boxing Federation (IBF) Intercontinental junior-lightweight champion Azinga “Golden Boy” Fuzile, has confirmed that they have agreed to meet Japanese boxer Kenichi Ogawa in an elimination bout, with the winner guaranteed a crack at the IBF junior-lightweight belt currently held by Tevin Farmer.

The IBF ordered Fuzile’s team and Ogawa’s camp to start negotiations in order for the two boxers to fight in an elimination bout. Ogawa is yet to agree to fighting Fuzile, something which Nathan says is not a problem as they might fight against another boxer should the Japanese refuse to face the unbeaten Duncan Village-born boxer.
