The funeral service of the four children, who burnt to death while their mothers were allegedly out partying, will be held on Thursday in Alexandra, north of Johannesburg.
Their memorial service took place on Wednesday at the Thusong Youth Centre in Alexandra.
Their mothers were arrested and need to apply for a special permission to attend the funeral.
They are facing charges of child neglect and culpable homicide.
Principal of the local Emfundisweni primary school, Thembi Giyama, says the young parents don’t care about their children.
“Our parents they don’t care; the young ones, they don’t care about their children. You will find a beautiful lady in the 20s coming to school to ask for shoes and a jersey. I had just offered Bongiwe a job at Emfundisweni and she just got paid only once. I’m so disappointed but I’m not angry because sometimes we don’t know the situation that pushed them to leave the kids”.
