Free State, Chiefs register wins, move up log

A solitary goal through Harris Tchilimbou gave Free State Stars a 1-0 win over Cape Town City in the Absa Premiership match at Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem, Free State.

Goals from Ryan Moon and Dumisani Zuma ensured Kaizer Chiefs claimed the three points when they beat Polokwane City 2-1 at FNB Stadium in the Absa Premiership.

The win sees Steve Komphela’s side moving to the fourth spot with 26 points from 17 league matches.

The victory places Luc Eymael’s side at No 2 on the log standings with 28 points from 16 matches.

Earlier Orlando Pirates exerted revenge on Mamelodi Sundowns when they defeated former African champions 3-1 in Pretoria.
