Outgoing ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe says delegates from Free State and Bojanala in the North West will not be voting at the Elective Conference due to the rulings of recent court cases.
Mantashe was briefing the media following Saturday morning’s NEC meeting.
On Friday, the High Court in the Free State nullified the current leadership.
The delegates from the Free State province had earlier endorsed Dr Nkosazana Dlamini- Zuma to become the next ANC president.
Delegates from Bojanala in the North West had also expressed their support for Dlamini-Zuma.
But Mantashe says although these delegates will not be allowed to vote, they will however be allowed to participate in other activities.
The opening of the conference was delayed due to the last minute NEC meeting.
