Mamelodi Sundowns, will be hoping to extend or maintain their lead they have over Kaizer Chiefs when they visit Chiefs at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday evening.

Free State Stars and Ajax Cape Town played to a 0-0 at a windy Cape Town Stadium in Absa Premiership match on Friday.

Stars stay fourth in the table and Ajax retain 15th place.

In the other match, Maritzburg United and Chippa United played to a one-all draw at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Absa Premiership log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns, will be hoping to extend or maintain their lead they have over Kaizer Chiefs when they visit Chiefs at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday evening.

Matches between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns are always highly anticipated. That’s only because goalless draws between these two sides are rare.

It will be no exception this weekend as the two teams go head to head in their second match of the season.

Chiefs won the last two matches between the two teams by two goals to one. Kaizer Chiefs captain, Itumeleng Khune says they had planned about aquiring points in January including against Mamelodi Sundowns.
