Four travellers test positive for COVID-19 at Beitbridge Border post

The Department of Health in Limpopo says 104 travellers have tested positive for coronavirus at the Beitbridge Border post in past four days.

This comes as scores of Zimbabweans make their way back to South Africa following the festive season holiday period.

In a statement, Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba calls on travellers who have been at the port of entry in the past four days to self isolate as soon as they reach their homes.

She says with the large numbers of travellers that the border post has seen in the said four days, people that were there have been exposed to a potential super spreader locations.
