Four people have been shot and killed in Clarkes Estate in Elsies River on the Cape Flats. Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa said suspects forced their way into the residence and opened fire.
Potelwa said a 19-year-old man and the three children died in the attack. She said, two women who are believed to be the mothers of the deceased, sustained serious gunshot wounds.
Two suspects were apprehended and will appear in court once they have been charged.
Potelwa says they are probing whether the incident is gang-related.
