Dozens of students from three universities have joined mourners at the Madikizela-Mandela home in Orlando West in Soweto to pay their respects to the family of late anti-apartheid struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
The students from Fort Hare, Rhodes and the University of Johannesburg say Mama Winnie encouraged them to be proud of being black.
They say her love for her people made her stay in Soweto while other leaders left for the suburbs.
