Former North West Health HOD, Dr. Thabo Lekalakala is expected to appear in the Mmabatho magistrate court after he was arrested by the Hawks on Friday morning.
He is facing a charge of fraud linked to the Mediosa Company.
Lekalakala was arrested in August this year for allegedly being appointed as HOD unlawfully, by the acting MEC of Finance Wendy Nelson, who was acting as premier of the North West.
In March, the South African National Civic Organisation called for the arrest of Lekalakala for alleged corruption.
In February, Lekalakala appeared before a disciplinary in Mahikeng to account for procurement irregularities relating to Gupta linked company Mediosa.
