Michelle Malinono Seutloali was born and raised in Gugulethu on the Cape Flats.

Her love for small animals led her to become one of the first black women to study Veterinary Science at the University of Pretoria’s Onderstepoort…

“I always had a love for small animals.  At the time I did not know that it was called a veterinarian but I wanted to be a doctor of animals, a doctor of dogs, cats, monkeys and rabbits, all of them.”
