First result of 2021 Local Government Elections expected after midnight

The Independent Electoral Commission has told the media at the Results Centre in Pretoria that the first results of the 2021 Local Government Elections should be available just after midnight. Voting at stations around the country will conclude at 21:00, whereafter the count will start.
