A fire has broken out in the Table Mountain National Park above Tafelberg Road.
The City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Michael Abrahams, says six fire engines and three water tankers are on scene, as well as an Incident Management Team.
“The incident is causing large amounts of smoke and we encourage residents to keep windows closed and keep pets inside.
Tafelberg Road is closed to traffic. The situation is fluid.”
