The Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) wants British authorities to deport former Gauteng Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu.
The party also wants her passport to be confiscated once she arrives in the country. Mahlangu has been subpoenaed to appear before the Life Esidimeni hearings under way in Johannesburg.
She has also been suspended from the Global Banking School in the UK after it became aware of the allegations against her.
Phillip van Staden from the FF Plus in Gauteng says, “So if she does not show up again, the authorities on national level must step in and ensure that she returns to South Africa. The FF Plus is currently busy finalising charge-sheets against Mahlangu and the others that were responsible for this tragedy. And as soon as the arbitration hearing is over, the FF Plus will submit its charge-sheets to the relevant authorities for prosecution.”
