Roger Federer is in the Aussie Open semi-final.

Defending champion Roger Federer is through to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne for the 14th time.

He beat Hungarian Marton Fucsovics in straight sets of 6-4, 7-6 and 6-2.

Over the years, the nineteen time grand slam champion has come up with some spectacular shots. In the second set he had a bit of luck on one point and it completely unsettled his opponent.

After clinching the second set, it was one way traffic in the next one and Federer will face Tomas Berdych in the quarterfinal.

2016 women’s champion, Angelique Kerber, of Germany overcame a spirited performance from Su Wie Hsieh.
Kerber won the match 4-6, 7-6 and 6-2.
