Financial advisers have called on women to prioritise their financial planning and ensure that they set and achieve both short and long term financial goals.
Financial planning and proper budgeting is vital as many households are run by single women.
Financial Adviser, Keletso Mohapi says it’s advisable to set out a budget and stick by it, “When you have a huge credit card to pay, it’s usually better to pay off the debt first and try to save and invest afterwards.”
The expert says that with proper discipline and financial planning, women can achieve financial freedom they desire. This can be achieved by setting the budget.
