Eskom is investigating the cause of a fire which broke out at its Kusile Station Unit three fabric filter plant in eMalahleni in Mpumalanga on Friday.
The coal-fired power plant near Witbank is still under construction.
Eskom Deputy Spokesperson Dikatso Mothae says the blaze was quickly put out and no injuries were reported.
