Springbok coach, Rassie Erasmus, has described Wales as the ‘silent assassin‘ of World Rugby.

South Africa face the Welsh in Cardiff on Saturday in the final test match of their European tour.

The Boks have not won at the Principality Stadium since 2013.

Wales is on an eight-match winning streak and Erasmus regards them as the Boks’ biggest challenge on tour.

“We played them in Washington, in that friendly, if you can call a test match friendly… But the way they’ve been playing, they’ve been beating proper teams. They certainly have experience in there. They gave Scotland a comfortable beating. They beat Australia, which we play against regularly. It’s a tough match. We’ve had four tough matches on this tour and I think, we’re probably ending off, although we lost the one against England, in my opinion we’re ending off with the toughest one of the four,” says Erasmus.
