Elections Observers say not enough young voters at polls

Elections observers from various countries in Southern Africa say while they are pleased that the South African general elections have been going well, they are however concerned that not enough young people have come out to vote.

They were speaking after witnessing the voting process at the Freeway Park Primary School in Boksburg on Gauteng’s East Rand this afternoon.

The observers have been visiting several voting stations, including one at Chiawelo in Soweto where President Cyril Ramaphosa voted.
