The United Christian Democratic Party will be contesting for seats in the North West province only.
It has been participating in the country’s general elections since 2004.
In 2009, the UCDP managed to secure two seats in the National Assembly but a dwindling support saw it failing to impress in 2014, only qualifying to get a seat as a special delegate in the National Council of Provinces.
Modiri Sehume is the party’s current president and is hopeful things will turn out for the better in the upcoming polls.
